The artists Lotte Nilsson Välimaa and Kenneth Pils has together fashioned  the waiting room of orthopedic clinic at Danderyd Hospital.

Flower landing - single moments is based on a project with thousands of flowers painted on silk. Some of these are now carefully fastened with silver clasps on the taut ropes in plexiglass boxes placed on one wall of the dayroom and opposite a large laminated floral image. The image is a photograph of a sunlit wall with silk paintings that are processed so that an impressionistic shimmer occurs.

To paint flowers on silk is something that really happens in the moment. It goes fast, thoughts are directed towards the living and the creation in the moment. The color is spreading more or less depending on the thickness of the silk fabric and degree of humidity. The way of painting involves chance and concentration, each painting represents a unique moment. Each flower painting is an index of a moment.
